Art through Literacy:

When writing a Colour Theory Scheme I tried to incorporate both Literacy and Numeracy.

An interesting book I bought was "White Rabbit's Color Book" by Alan Baker.  It is a different yet simple way of enforcing learning, the book is about the White Rabbit's journey from bucket to bucket of different coloured paint,  this is an endearing way of explaining colour mixing.

Hi Everybody,

My name is Eileen Mooney.  I have begun creating this website in order to display my Artwork.  I want to show my dual identity and how two practices I study shape and mould me as an "Artist-Teacher."  I have just completed my fourth year as student teacher and ceramicist studying in NCAD.  I intend to use this space to show the diversity of my Artwork in college and the development of this work on completion of my Degree.  I aim for the website to display my work in the form of a 'Hall of Fame.'  I hope you enjoy this website.  Feel free to contact me on any queries about my work.
